Displaying your item is easy and does not take any special equipment. Here is what you will need; a hanger with a swivel hook, a hanger with clips and a swivel hook, straight pins, and a measuring tape, and a bed sheet. |
When you list your items, in the "additional information" section, you can make short comments about the garments if you think it would be helpful to the buyer.
Here are some examples; Generous cut through hips, Below or above the knee, 3/4 sleeve, Figure hugging, Fitted blouse, Elastic waist, Fits large or small for size, Never worn, tags still on, etc.

TIPS ON HOW TO DISPLAY YOUR CLOTHES |
| |
|
| |
You want to show off your nice clothes so you will need a contrasting background. We find that throwing a bed sheet over your closet or bedroom door makes an ideal place to hang your item so it will look the best on the website. White or beige bed sheet works best for most colors but if your items are white or beige you will obviously need something darker. |
|
Once you have your item displayed, all you do is take a picture. Remember to zoom in so the buyers can see the detail of the garment. We recommend using a digital camera if you have one but your iPhone will work.Other phones do not seem to work as well. Be sure the room is well lit.Take the picture and follow the directions on the website to up load your pictures.Fill out the item question form on the site that asks for size, measurements, fabric, designer, etc.

1) So, here we go! Place your item, in this case a dress, on a hanger that has a swivel hook on it so you can turn it and hang it on the door. If the dress does not hang well and does not look flat, use some straight pins to pin the dress to the sheet at the shoulders, sleeves, waist, and hem line. As you can see in this picture, you need to zoom in to see the details of the dress. |
|
| |
2) For displaying pants and jackets we recommend you do photograph them one at a time. Place the jacket on the hanger. Button all the buttons. And again, use the straight pins to flatten the jacket out.
|
|
| |
3) For pants you will need a hanger with moveable clips. Move the clips out to the ends of the hanger and clip the pants to it. You probably will have to use the pins to display the pants to their best advantage. |

TIPS ON HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CLOTHES. |
1) Sleeve length is measured on the back of the garment from the center of the neck to the point of the shoulder and down the arm to the end of the sleeve. |
|
| |
| 2) Shoulder width is measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, across the back of the garment, |
|
| |
| 3) Waist measurements are from side to side of the garment at the waistline and multiply by 2. For pants measure at the waistband. If the pants have an elastic waist hook your fingers in the waist at the side seams and stretch it out to its full width. |
|
| |
| 4) Leg length is measured outside seam and inside seam. For the outside measure from the waistband to the bottom of the pants leg on the side of the pants. |
|
| |
| 5) For the inseam, measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside of the leg. |
